In the late 90's, one of the most dominant post-position players in the ACC was Norman Nolan. The 6'8" power forward averaged nearly a double-double per game during his senior year. After finishing his four years of eligibility, Nolan found himself overseas playing ball. He had stints in The Middle East, Europe, Caribbean, and South America.
Now, 12 years after leaving UVa Norman Nolan is back on grounds. Nolan is trying to earn a degree from the University he calls "home" 16 years after he started his journey to receive it.
While on grounds, Nolan has found time away from his studies to play pick-up games with member of UVa's current basketball team and offer some pointers along the way. However, the most important message he gives them is to make sure they graduate.
