For the first time since 2003, Virginia has started out its ACC schedule 3-0. The Cavaliers took down Georgia Tech, 28-23, on Saturday, handing the Yellow Jackets their eighth straight loss at Scott Stadium.
Jameel Sewell had his most complete game of 2007, completing 16 of 25 passes for 177 yards and a touchdown, and added a rushing touchdown as well. Cedric Peerman eclipsed the century mark for the third straight game, grabbing 138 rushing yards and a score.
Virginia will welcome Pittsburgh to Scott Stadium on Saturday night for a 7:00 kickoff. The Panthers handed the Cavs an opening week loss last season, 38-13.
