The Atlantic Coast Conference announced the league's women's basketball conference schedule for the 2012-13 season. Theleague will announce each school’s non-conference schedule at a later date once the ACC's regional television partners have made their selections.
The 2012-13 season is the first year the ACC will feature an 18-game league slate. The Cavaliers will play seven schools home-and-away (Boston College,Georgia Tech, Maryland, Miami, NC State, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest), two schools only at home (Duke, Florida State) and two schools only on the road(North Carolina, Clemson).
The schedule features five games that will be broadcast on regional sports networks, two on the ESPN3 digital platform and the home contest on Sunday,Feb. 17 against Maryland will be televised by ESPN2.
The 2013 ACC Tournament will be held March 6-10 at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, N.C.
