Tony Bennett might be adding more size to the Virginia front-court this season.
According to a report on a Boston Herald sports blog, Boston University transfer Jake O'Brien has Virginia as one of his schools to visit. He also plans stops to Boston College, Providence and Temple.
O'Brien, a 6'9" forward, graduated from Boston but will have a graduate year remaining and will be able to play for whichever school he joins this season.
He had planned to finish his career at BU, but changed his mind when they were banned from postseason play in the America East Conference after announcing their move to the Patriot League next season.
O'Brien sat out last season as a medical red-shirt after undergoing a second surgery on his left foot.
He was the America East rookie of the year in 2009 and averaged career-highs with 13.8 points and 6.4 rebounds as a sophomore.
