Top-ranked defensive tackle recruit Andrew Brown will announce his college decision during an online chat on Saturday.
The 6-4, 290-lb. Brown is graded as a consensus five-star prospect by the major recruiting services, as well as the top defensive tackle in the country. Brown had 83 tackles last year as a junior at Oscar Smith High School in Chesapeake, with 11 sacks and four forced fumbles.
"I decided to go ahead and make my decision so I could focus on my senior season," Brown told ESPN.com on Wednesday. "I just don't want to be stressing out about everything."
ESPN.com will host Brown's online announcement.
Several recruiting analysts consider Virginia the favorite to land Brown. The Cavaliers are one of Brown's five finalists, along with three other ACC schools -- Clemson, Florida State, and Virginia Tech -- and defending national champion Alabama.
