Cavaliers Unanimous No. 1 Preseason Pick
The reigning NCAA champion Virginia men's lacrosse team is ranked No. 1 in all four preseason polls.

The reigning NCAA champion Virginia men's lacrosse team is a unanimous No. 1 pick in all four preseason polls. The USILA coaches and NIke/Inside Lacrosse polls were released Monday. Earlier this winter, Face-Off Yearbook and Lacrosse Magazine also voted UVa as top in the country.
The Cavaliers return seven starters and 30 lettermen from the 2011 National Championship team. UVa has made four straight appearances in the NCAA semifinals.
Six of Virginia's opponents are ranked in the Top 10 across the preseason polls, including No. 2/3 Duke.
The Cavaliers open the 2012 season on February 18 at Drexel at 2 p.m.
