The 20th-ranked Virginia men's basketball team closed the game on a 20-1 run, beating Georgia Tech 64-45 Saturday at the McCamish Pavilion in Atlanta. The Cavaliers held the Yellow Jackets without a field goal in the final 9:52 of the game.

Playing in his home state of Georgia, Malcolm Brogdon earned his second straight double-double, finishing with 14 points and 11 rebounds in the win. Joe Harris and Anthony Gill each added 11 points for the Cavaliers, who have now won seven straight games.

UVa is now 10-1 in the ACC and 19-5 on the season, winning 10 of their last 11 games. The 'Hoos have won five road games in conference play for the first time since the 1994-95 season.

The Cavaliers will play their fourth game in nine days when they host Maryland at John Paul Jones Arena on Monday. The start time for that game has been moved to 9 p.m.
