Cavs Dominate Wolfpack for Third Straight Win

Just three days after blowing out Wake Forest at home in a 23 point win, the Virginia men's basketball team continued their dominance Saturday. The Cavaliers rolled past North Carolina State 76-45 in Raleigh, and never trailed in the game.

Joe Harris and Mike Tobey led the 'Hoos with 16 points each, while Harris added three steals and Tobey finished with 7 rebounds. Akil Mitchell added 8 points and 12 rebounds, and Malcolm Brogdon finished with 13 points on 6-of-10 shooting.

Defensively, the Cavaliers held the Wolfpack to just 29-percent shooting from the floor. Sophomore forward T.J. Warren, who came in averaging more than 23 points per game, finished with just 4 points on 1-for-9 shooting.

The win improves the 'Hoos to 12-4 overall and 3-0 in the ACC. North Carolina State falls to 11-5 and 1-2 in the conference. Next up, UVa will stay on the road to face Duke on Monday. The 16th-ranked Blue Devils fell to Clemson on Saturday, 72-59.
