Virginia saw a nine-point halftime lead disappear in the second half of a 66-60 road loss to Georgia Tech, snapping the Cav's five-game win streak.
Mdon Udofia's jumper with 1:19 remaining broke a 57-57 tie and put the Jackets in front for good.
Virginia led 54-48 following a 3-pointer by freshman Evan Nolte with 9:40 remaining. The Cavaliers then went more than 9 minutes without a field goal before Jontel Evans' driving basket with 35 seconds remaining.
Joe Harris led Virginia with 18 points and Akil Mitchell followed with 13 points and 12 rebounds.
Virginia (15-6, 5-3) hosts Clemson on Thursday.
