Tony Bennett's team will play its fifth game in 12 days on Tuesday, when the Virginia men's basketball team hosts Clemson.

The Cavaliers can complete a 4-1 run in that stretch with a win on Tuesday. Virginia's record would also improve to 18-3 with a win, improving upon the program's best start in 30 years.

"It's still early in our conference year. But every game that you play that you can get is significant," Bennett said Monday. "Especially in a league like ours, where there's a lot of balance in the majority of the teams."

Virginia is coming off Saturday's last-second 61-60 win at NC State, and a 66-49 win at home over Boston College on Thursday. Following that 2-0 week, the Wahoos climbed three spots in both college basketball polls on Monday. They're now ranked No. 16 by the Associated Press, and No. 18 in the latest coaches' poll.

Tuesday's game will also be the 100th for the Cavalier basketball program at John Paul Jones Arena.
