Date Set for Wahoos' Visit to VCU

The date is set for the Virginia men's basketball team's trip to Richmond for its highly-anticipated rematch with VCU.

The Rams rolled out their non-conference schedule for the 2014-15 season on Thursday morning. It includes a visit to the Siegel Center by UVa on Saturday, December 6. A tip-off time was not announced.

The game will be the 13th all-time meeting between the two programs, and the second in a home-and-home series that began last season. Treveon Graham's three-pointer with just 1.1 seconds left gave VCU a 59-56 at a sold-out John Paul Jones Arena last November.

This December's game will mark the Wahoos' first-ever visit to the Siegel Center.

The Rams went unbeaten on their home court last season, en route to a 26-9 season, and the program's fourth consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament. VCU's season ended with an overtime loss to Stephen F. Austin in the tournament's round of 64.

UVa is coming off a run to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament, which ended with a loss to Michigan State. The Cavaliers ended last year with a 30-7 record, and will enter this season as the reigning ACC regular season and tournament champions.
