A trio of Fluvanna County student-athletes made their college decisions Wednesday.

Dale Ludwig, a key member of the Flucos' boys soccer team, will play on the pitch at American University next season.

"I'm just taking it all in," Ludwig said of the process. "It's a great, unbelievable opportunity. I can't wait to go to college."

Ludwig added that he's looking forward to contributing to the Eagles and making the NCAA Tournament.

Hannah Miller is a three-time Jefferson District volleyball first-team selection and Wednesday signed her letter of intent to join Christopher Newport in Newport News.

"I just fell in love with it when I visited this summer," Miller explained. "I loved playing with the girls there and just everything about it made me feel at home."

Justin Zimmerman just won a Jefferson District wrestling championship last weekend and will wrestle for Ferrum College next season.

"Ever since I started wrestling in seventh grade that's always been my goal, to wrestle in college," Zimmerman explained. "it's pretty cool."
