Virginia landed its16th commitment for the 2013 class late Saturday night, when Fork Union Military Academy safety Malcolm Cook committed to the Cavaliers.
A Richmond native, Cook is transferring to Fork Union from Armstrong High where he played quarterback.
He participated in Saturday's one-day camp at Virginia and reportedly ran a 4.40 and 4.41 in the 40 yard dash. Those times apparently impressed the UVa staff as they offered him a scholarship on the spot.
With his commitment, Cook joins Tim Harris, Hipolito Corporan and Kirk Garner in the Class of 2013 defensive secondary.
