Virginia tennis alumni Treat Huey and Dom Inglot won their first career ATP World Tour doubles title on Sunday, downing Sam Querrey and Kevin Anderson 7-6(9), 6-7(11), 10-5 in the final of the Citi Open at the FitzGerald Tennis Center in Washington, D.C. By winning the ATP 500-level event, they become the first Cavaliers to win a championship on the ATP World Tour. Huey and Inglot were ranked No. 32 in the ATP Doubles Team Rankings prior to the tournament.
Huey and Inglot become the fifth set of collegiate teammates to go on and win an ATP Tour doubles title since 2000.
