The Western Albemarle boys and girls swim and dive teams swept the Region II Championships Saturday at Fork Union Aquatic Center. The Western girls finished with 144 points, far ahead of second-place Dominion with 66. Sophomore Remedy Rule won a pair of titles in the 200 IM and 100 fly to lead Western. Charlottesville's Storrs Lamb also won two titles in the 50 and 100 free.
The Western boys, meanwhile, had a bit tougher road. The Warriors beat out Potomac Falls 87-71 for the title. Western's Alex Rayle led the way, winning the 200 IM.
