The accolades keep pouring in for Jarmere Jenkins, even when he's not wearing the orange and blue.
The Cavalier grad was named ITA National College Player of the Year Wednesday for his remarkable senior season.
He finished with a pair of national titles, including Virginia's first NCAA Team Championship in school history. He also won the NCAA Doubles title with Mac Styslinger and was a Singles finalist as well.
Jenkins began the year by winning the prestigious USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships singles title. From there, Jenkins went on to guide Virginia to the 2013 ITA National Team Indoor Championship and eventually climbed to No. 1 in the ITA College Tennis Rankings for the first time in his career.
Jenkins finished his illustrious career as a four-time ITA All-American and was also named the ITA/Farnsworth National Senior Player of the Year.
