Virginia football coach Mike London is headed to the "Car Wash" later this month.
That's the nickname at ESPN for when sports figures visit the network's Bristol, Conn., campus for appearances on various shows and platforms throughout a single day. London is one of six ACC coaches who will be in Bristol on Monday, July 29.
ESPN is bringing in 50 coaches from around the country -- all from either the ACC, Big Ten, Pac-12, or SEC -- between July 22 and August 1, all part of the network's preseason hype for the upcoming college football season.
The ACC will be represented by a dozen coaches between July 29-30. Joining London in Bristol on the first day will be Paul Chryst (Pittsburgh), David Cutcliffe (Duke), Dave Doeren (NC State), Larry Fedora (Georgia Tech), and Paul Johnson (Georgia Tech).
The six ACC coaches appearing on July 30 include Steve Addazio (Boston College), Frank Beamer (Virginia Tech), Randy Edsall (Maryland), Jimbo Fisher (Florida State), Al Golden (Miami), and Jim Grobe (Wake Forest).
