It's starting to look like deja vu at Meadowcreek.
Phil Mahone and Bowen Sargent are tied atop the leaderboard after one round of play at the 26th Reines Jewelers City Championship.
Both men fired 70's on the day to finish tied at the top at -1.
The two also finished 1-2 in 2012 with Mahone taking home his second City title.
Lance Hoover is one shot back of the lead at an even 71 and five other golfers are tied for fourth, three strokes back of the lead.
Mahone had a solid back-nine, with a birdie on 13 (Hole No. 4 on the course with players starting at the No. 10 tee) and the lone eagle of the day at 10.
Not to be outdone, Sargent also shot low on 10 with a putt for birdie.
Meadowcreek officials were thrilled with the beautiful, sunny conditions after days of rain did a number on the course. Maintenance crews worked hard to get the course ready for play and many of the players remarked at how well the course held up, given all the water it had seen just days before.
