Maryland Ends Virginia's ACC Women's Tournament Run

Maryland, the No. 1 seed in the ACC Women's Lacrosse Tournament, ended Virginia's run with a 13-9 semifinal win Friday.

The loss drops Virginia to 9-9 on the season.

The Cavaliers trailed by just a goal, 7-6, at the half. Casey Bocklet had a pair of scores in the half. Virginia got within two goals in the second half but no closer.

Bocklet and Ashlee Warner had a pair of goals each for Virginia.
