Heavily recruited Miller School forward Isaac Copeland has made his college decision.
Copeland, a 6-9 junior, has made a verbal commitment to Georgetown, Miller coach Scott Willard confirmed on Sunday. Copeland averaged 18 points and 10 rebounds for the Mavericks this past season.
Copeland, rated as a four-star recruit by the major recruiting websites, has scholarship offers from more than a dozen college programs, including Virginia. Florida State and NC State were also among the schools recruiting Copeland.
Rivals.com (45th), ESPN.com (37th), and 247Sports.com (32nd) all rank Copeland among the top 50 prospects in the recruiting class of 2014.
