Mitchell Starts as Rockets Fall to Magic

Akil Mitchell continued his Summer League campaign with the Houston Rockets on Monday in the NBA's Orlando Summer League.

The former Virginia Cavalier started the Rockets' game against the Magic and finished with 4 points on 2-for-4 shooting and one rebound in 18 minutes. The Magic took the 87-69 win, dropping Houston to 0-2 in Summer League play.

The game was the second of three scheduled games for the Rockets in Orlando.

Mitchell had six points and five rebounds on Saturday in his Summer League debut, a 95-89 loss to the Pistons. The Rockets' next scheduled game is Thursday at 7 p.m. against the Grizzlies.
