Virginia and St. John's will get an early start on Sunday for their second round NIT match-up.
The game is scheduled to tip off at 11 a.m. Sunday at John Paul Jones Arena, Virginia announced just after midnight on Thursday. The game will be televised on ESPN.
St. John's (17-15) entered the 32-team NIT bracket as a No. 5 seed. The Red Storm rallied from a 12-point hole to upset four-seed St. Joseph's in Tuesday's opening round, winning 63-61 on a jumper at the buzzer by sophomore Sir'Dominic Pointer.
The Cavaliers, a No. 1 seed in the bracket, improved to 22-11 with a 67-56 win at home over Norfolk State.
