The Notre Dame football team is coming to Charlottesville in 2015.
On Friday, the ACC announced the opponents and locations for the first three seasons of the league's partnership with Notre Dame. It includes a visit to Virginia in 2015.
The partnership between the conference and the school -- which was announced last September -- involves five games against ACC opponents each season, beginning in 2014. Notre Dame will face each ACC team at least once in the three-year cycle of opponents.
The 2014 schedule will include Louisville, North Carolina, and Wake Forest traveling to South Bend, while the Irish will visit Florida State and Syracuse.
In addition to its trip to Virginia in 2015, Notre Dame will also travel to Clemson and Pittsburgh. The Irish will host Boston College and Georgia Tech that season.
In 2016, the Irish will host Duke, Miami, and Virginia Tech, and travel to NC State and Syracuse.
Virginia is 0-1 all-time against the Irish -- a 36-13 loss in the 1989 Kickoff Classic.
