Four seasons after winning one AAU National Championship, the Orange Stingers are the best in the country once again.
The Stingers won the 12U Championship Sunday at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando. Orange beat a team from Volusia, Florida 30-6 to finish the week a perfect 6-0 en route to the title.
Many of the players on this year's team won a national title as eight-year-olds four seasons ago.
The team is made up of players from Orange, Louisa, Madison, Culpeper and Spotsylvania counties. They went undefeated in the regular season, allowing just one touchdown all season.
