Mike Scott's pro basketball career is going to continue with the Atlanta Hawks.
Scott confirmed on Twitter Friday night that he has agreed to a deal with the Hawks, the team that took Scott in the second round of the 2012 NBA Draft following his senior year at Virginia. Yahoo! Sports NBA reporter Adrian Wojnarowski reported on Twitter that Scott had agreed to a three-year, $10 million contract.
Scott averaged 9.6 points and 3.6 rebounds in 80 games this past season, and appeared in all seven of Atlanta's playoff games. He had been a restricted free agent, meaning the Hawks could match any contract offer from another NBA team.
