Virginia wide receiver E.J. Scott has transferred to Wake Forest, he confirmed on his Twitter account on Monday. The spring semester at Wake Forest begins on Tuesday.
Scott has one season of college football eligibility left, and recently graduated from UVa. The wide receiver has spent the past four seasons with the Cavaliers, including a redshirt year in 2010.
A three-star receiver from Ellicott City, Md., Scott was a member of Mike London's first recruiting class at Virginia in 2010. After missing most of his redshirt freshman season in 2011 with an injury, Scott caught 29 passes for 390 yards and three touchdowns in 2012. In 2013, Scott only had three catches for 30 yards.
