Draft picks John Jenkins and Mike Scott are expected to participate when the Atlanta Hawks open a three-day rookie camp on Tuesday.
Jenkins, a shooting guard from Vanderbilt, was Atlanta's first-round pick in last month's NBA draft. Scott, a power forward from Virginia, was the team's second-round pick. Jenkins, Scott and other players will have physicals before the first practice on Tuesday afternoon.
The team plans two practices on Wednesday and one workout Thursday morning. The team will play a five-game NBA Summer League schedule in Las Vegas, beginning on Friday.
Center Keith Benson, a second-round pick in 2011, and guard-forward Pape Sy, a second-round pick in 2010, also are on the Hawks' rookie camp roster.
