The Virginia softball team dropped both ends of a doubleheader against James Madison, 3-2 and 10-2, Thursday at The Park in Charlottesville. The Cavaliers fell to 9-12 on the season.
In the first game, Virginia got within 3-2 in the sixth inning but couldn't make up the ground.
In the second game, James Madison scored in five of six frames on the way to a 10-2 win in six innings.
The Cavaliers return to action with a doubleheader back at The Park Thursday (March 14) against Longwood at 4 p.m.
