UVa junior Joe Harris was named to the 2012-13 All-ACC first team, while junior Akil Mitchell earned third team honors, and senior Jontel Evans was named to the all-defensive team.
Harris finished fourth in the conference in scoring at 17.0 points per game, and led the ACC in 3-point percentage, at 44.4 percent.
Harris is joined on the first team by Duke’s Mason Plumlee, who finished second among ACC players in scoring average, rebound average and field goal percentage, in leading Duke to a 27-4 record. Erick Green of Virginia Tech, Miami’s Shane Larkin, and NC State’s Richard Howell round out the first team.
Mitchell is joined on the third team by Florida State’s Michael Snaer, NC State’s CJ Leslie, Boston College’s Ryan Anderson, Duke’s Quinn Cook, and Clemson’s Devin Booker.
Evans received all-defensive honors for the second year in a row.
