UVa Athletics Adjusts Saturday Start Times

The Virginia baseball and softball teams have adjusted starts times for each respective Saturday doubleheader and the men's lacrosse team has pushed back its start time against Cornell.

The baseball team will begin its ACC-opening series with Maryland at 4 p.m. at Davenport Field. The game was originally slated to begin at 1 p.m. The Cavaliers are a perfect 12-0 on the season.

The softball team meanwhile will have its ACC and season home opener against Georgia Tech beginning at 2 p.m. That is a change from 12 p.m. originally.

The men's lacrosse team was originally slated to faceoff with No. 3 Cornell at 1 p.m. but that game will now start at 6 p.m.

Wednesday's snowfall impacted start times for each sport and crews have continued to cleanup at Davenport Field, The Park and Klöckner Stadium.
