The Virginia football team kicks off spring practices this weekend, with the annual Orange-Blue spring game set for April 12.

The spring game will kick of at 1 p.m. on April 12 at Scott Stadium, the university announced Tuesday. To accommodate fans, first pitch of the UVa baseball game that afternoon against Clemson has been pushed back to 2:30 p.m.

The Cavaliers will open spring practice this Saturday, with three workouts set before the team takes a week off for spring break. Practices will resume on March 18.

The team's March 22 practice at Scott Stadium, set to start at 10:30 a.m., will be open to the public.
