UVa Volleyball Drops Contest at N.C. State

The Virginia volleyball team fell 3-2 Friday night at N.C. State. The loss drops the Cavaliers to 15-12 (8-7 ACC) on the season.

Freshman Jasmine Burton led the Cavaliers with 17 kills, while sophomore Natalie Bausback recorded five blocks with nine kills.

With nine kills, freshman Haley Kole now has the fourth-most kills in UVa freshman history with 374. Burton cracked the top 10 and moved all the way up to seventh on the UVa freshman kill list with 312.

The Cavaliers return to action Saturday when they play at No. 15 North Carolina at 5 p.m.
