UVa's Moses Wraps Up Weekend at NFL Combine

Former Virginia offensive lineman Morgan Moses' quest to become the latest Cavalier lineman selected in the NFL draft continued over the weekend at the NFL Combine.

The 6-6, 314-pound lineman recorded a vertical jump of 21.5 inches and a broad jump of 106 inches, which ranked tied for 11th in his position group. Moses ran the 40-yard dash in 5.35 seconds, tying for 30th out of 40 offensive lineman that ran. Additionally, he finished the three cone drill in 7.93 seconds, and ranked third in his position group in the 20-yard shuttle, finishing in 4.95 seconds.

Moses started 43 of 48 games at offensive tackle during his four seasons at Virginia. As a senior, he made the move from right tackle to left tackle and earned third-team All-ACC honors.

The 2014 NFL draft begins Thursday, May 8 and runs through Saturday, May 10.
