Virginia football received its sixth verbal commitment for the Class of 2015 Wednesday when Erie (Pa) Cathedral Prep offensive lineman James Trucilla agreed to join the Wahoos.

Trucilla will line up at defensive tackle for the Cavaliers when he gets on Grounds.

Trucilla chose the 'Hoos over offers from James Madison, Akron and Ball State, among others.

The 6-1, 267-pounder is rated as a three-star recruit by Rivals.com

He joins fellow linemen RJ Proctor, Grant Polk and Ryan Bischoff, plus quarterback Nick Johns, athlete Juan Thornhill, receiver David Eldridge and tight end Tanner Cowley in the Class of 2015 for Virginia.
