Virginia released the men's basketball schedule Wednesday afternoon.
The schedule features three matchups -- against North Carolina, PIttsburgh and Syracuse -- that will be part of ESPN's ACC Big Monday. The 'Hoos will have 12 other conference games broadcast on either ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU and will have two games appear on NBC Sports Network.
The Cavaliers begin conference play on the road at Miami January 3 and host NC State January 7 for the home opener.
Virginia plays four ACC schools both at home and away -- Louisivlle, NC State, Wake Forest and Virginia Tech. The Cavaliers will face Boston college, Miami, North Carolina, Notre Dame and Syracuse on the road only and will meet Clemson, Duke, Florida State, Georgia Tech and Pittsburgh only in John Paul Jones Arena.
In non-conference action, the Cavaliers will host George Washington and Harvard, which each made 2014 NCAA appearances. Virginia will also travel to in-state rival VCU and to Maryland for the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.
