The Louisa Lions jumped out to an early lead and held off a pesky William Monroe squad to top the Dragons, 70-65, and earn a victory in the first game on the Jefferson District schedule. Louisa improves to 1-0 in the district, while William Monroe falls to 0-1. The Lions head back out of the Jefferson District for their next match up, as they head to Spotsylvania on Friday, while the Dragons travel to Charlottesville on Friday night as well.
Madison pulled its record back to .500, improving to 3-3 with a 67-46 win over Stonewall Jackson tonight. Logan Terrell paced the Mountaineers with 14 points, while David Falk chipped in 13, and Jerel Carter added eleven. Madison will look to move above the .500 mark, as it heads to Wilson Memorial on Wednesday.
