Kianna Lloyd posted a double-double of 13 points and eleven rebounds, as the Fluvanna girls basketball team topped Madison, 54-41, in non-district action. Lindsey Hurt added 12 points and six assists for the Flucos. Fluvanna runs its record to 11-6, and returns to Jefferson District play tomorrow, where they are 3-4. They will welcome Charlottesville.
Meanwhile, Charlottesville got 23 points from both Shalita Brown and Shawntae Payne, and cruised by Buckingham, 86-37. The Black Knights travel to Fluvanna to face the Flucos tomorrow night.
Western Albemarle traveled to Nelson County, and came away with a 48-32 win over the Governors. Mary Scwartz scored a game high 16 points, while Sadeeka Dosu and Shannon Bayliss both chipped in nine. The Warriors will travel to William Monroe tomorrow night.
On the boys side, Miller topped Roanoke Catholic tonight, 71-53.
