STAB and Covenant will renew their football rivalry on Friday afternoon, as both look for a key win in their respective quests for state playoff berths. For the first time, this match up is being held at Covenant.

The Eagles come in with a 5-2 record, and have never defeated the Saints. STAB enters with a 3-3 mark. The Saints fell at Collegiate their last time out, while Covenant topped Virginia Episcopal by a 28-25 count this past Saturday. STAB head coach John Blake says that his Saints need to win the rest of their games in order to earn a state playoff spot, where they hope to defend their state title and win their third in a row.

Kickoff for Friday's match up is set for 3:30pm at Covenant. Click on the above video link for a preview of the game.
