An arch rivalry headlines action on the local high school football field this Friday night, as Orange travels to Louisa. The winner of this match up will be in the drivers seat to challenge Monticello for the district title. Both teams have already lost to the Mustangs, but the victor of Friday's game will be just one game back, and remain alive in the state playoff picture.
Last season, the Hornets got the best of Louisa, as Orange has won three of the last four match ups between the two teams. The Lions are 5-2, falling to Monticello and Courtland, and look to avenge last year's loss. The Hornets are 4-3 on the year, but have only the loss to the Mustangs in the district.
