Madison Mania was in full swing at Monticello High School on Saturday. Fans even showed up three hours prior to game time to tailgate prior to the Mountaineers match-up with Northampton. The sixth man support showed on the court.

In the first half, Madison found themselves in a five point hole. A second quarter 14-0 run put the Mountaineers ahead, and kept it that way into the break. In the second half, the Yellow Jackets would pull to with five points of the Mountaineers. Madison wouldn't let them any closer. They would hold off Northampton en route to a 66-57 win, and improve to a sparkling 28-0 on the season.

Charlottesville met many of the same challenges. Taking on Tabb in the Division Four quarterfinals, the Black Knights trailed early and often in the first half. A second half rally put the Knights ahead and they walked away with a 58-45 win over the Tigers.

Orange however, met a different fate. They had their hands full with Courtland as the Hornets' season took an abrupt halt as they fell 82-65.

Charlottesville takes on Courtland in the state semi-finals at the Seigel Center in Richmond, and Madison will also be there as they face a rematch with their regional championship opponent, Dan River.
