Western Albemarle played Waynesboro in week 2 last year and ended up winning in a blowout. Friday night, the Warriors opened up the season by hosting the Little Giants, and the result would be no different.
Already up 7-0 in the first quarter, Stephen Schuler rolled out to his right on fourth down and found Dom Losco open in the back of the end zone, making it it 14-0 Western.
Still in the first quarter, Schuler and Losco hooked up again for a long touchdown, giving Western Albemarle a 21-0 lead.
The Warriors racked up 35 points in the first quarter and never looked back. They took a 42-0 lead in the lockeroom at halftime and the defense completed the shutout in the second half. The Warriors topped Waynesboro 49-0.
