Fork Union postgrad basketball coach Brooks Berry will take over as Athletic Director of the Covenant School this summer, the school announced Thursday.
Berry will join the Eagles after he steps down from his duties at Fork Union.
“Coach Berry brings to Covenant a wealth of experience in coaching and athletic administration,” Covenant Headmaster George Sanker said. “In addition, he will be a great role model and mentor for students, and he possesses the ability to build relationships and partnerships throughout the community.”
Berry is a graduate of Fork Union and took over the program from his father-in-law, Fletcher Arritt.
Dave Rocco will continue as Covenant’s Head Football Coach and will also resume the role of Assistant Athletic Director.
