Days after bouncing back from their first loss of the season, the Buckingham Knights have once again received some votes in the latest Associated Press Group A football poll.
Buckingham beat Nottoway 54-19 on homecoming last Friday. That win came after the Knights lost 36-7 Amelia at home last Monday.
The Knights got two points in this week's poll, released Monday. Buckingham had received votes in the initial statewide AP poll two weeks ago, but disappeared last week after that loss to Amelia - the No. 2 team in the state according to the AP poll.
No other local teams received a vote in any of the AP's three polls this week.
