Buckingham County senior Cam Johnson won't be traveling very far to continue his football career after high school.
Johnson will be joining the postgraduate football program at Fork Union next year, Buckingham activities director Ed Dike said on Thursday. According to Dike, Johnson will play wide receiver at FUMA.
Johnson played receiver as a sophomore and junior for the Knights before moving to quarterback last season. He had 359 receiving yards and three touchdowns as a sophomore, and was an All-Region B second team selection as a junior after putting up 424 receiving yards and six touchdowns.
Johnson missed much of his senior year with an injury.
