Chris Fraser has stepped down as the head football coach at Charlottesville High School and the school will begin an immediate search for a new head coach. Black Knight athletic director told CBS19 of Fraser's decision Thursday morning.
Fraser accumulated a 5-25 record in three seasons at Charlottesville, after taking over for Garwin Deberry following the 2007 season. Four of those wins came during the 2009 campaign, when the Knights finished 4-6. Charlottesville just endured an 0-10 season, but was dominated by youth on the roster.
We will have updates on the Charlottesville coaching search throughout Thursday.
