Virginia has added another offensive lineman from Fork Union to its incoming recruiting class. And he's wasting little time getting his college career started.
Jacob Fieler announced his commitment to the Cavaliers Wednesday night in his hometown of Parkersburg, W.Va. UVa coach Mike London confirmed minutes later via Twitter that Fieler will enroll at the school in January, making him eligible to join his new team for spring practice.
Fieler spent the past season playing for the post-graduate team at Fork Union. Unrated by the major recruiting websites, Fieler chose UVa over schools that included Cincinnati and Southern Miss.
Fieler is the 14th player to commit to UVa for the program's 2014 recruiting class, and the third offensive lineman.
