The Fluvanna County boys are going back to the Siegel Center.
The Flucos clinched a second consecutive trip to the AA Division 3 state semifinals with a 75-58 win over James Monroe in Friday night's quarterfinal, played at the Convocation Center on the campus of James Madison University in Harrisonburg.
Senior guard YaYa Anderson had a team-high 25 points for Fluvanna , who opened the fourth quarter on a 10-0 run after trailing by two at the end of the third. Three other Flucos finished with double-digit points - Vinny Agee (19), Jake Smith (12), and Taylor Lintecum (10).
With the win, Fluvanna advances to Tuesday's Division 3 semifinals at the Siegel Center in Richmond. The Flucos will face Region IV champion Cave Spring, who beat Waynesboro 58-55 in Friday's quarterfinals.
