The Fluvanna and Madison boys basketball teams both secured big wins in non-district contests on Wednesday night to headline high school hoops action.
Fluvanna welcomed Cumberland to its home court and rolled to an 82-53 victory. Ya Ya Anderson led the Flucos with 16 points, while Josh Hinkle added 14, as Fluvanna improves to 13-1 on the year.
Madison took on Rappahannock and cruised to the 78-21 win behind Travis Warren's 18 points. The Mountaineers held a 19-2 lead after the first quarter over a Rappahannock team that only had five players on its varsity roster.
Louisa earned a Jefferson District win over Goochland on Wednesday, 55-47. Anthony Hunter scored 17 points to lead the Lions, while Allen White pulled down eleven rebounds and grabbed four steals.
