The Fluvanna boys' outlasted Charlottesville in a Jefferson District rematch Tuesday night, 52-49. The win was the Flucos' eighth straight as they keep a perfect 6-0 league record in tact. The Knights fall to 2-4 in JD play, 9-5 overall.
Charlottesville held a 13-6 edge after the first quarter before the teams entered halftime tied at 23. In the second half, the Flucos got back to their transition game, highlighted by a slam dunk from freshman Jalen Harrison.
YaYa Anderson had a game-high 18 points for Fluvanna. Dashaun Blakely led the Knights with 16 points.
