Two of Charlottesville's three wins this season have come against William Monroe. On Saturday, the Black Knights improved their record to 3-0 with an overtime victory against the Green Dragons, 60-55.
Monroe jumped out to an 18-10 lead after the first quarter and led by seven at the break. The two exchanged possessions in the third and fourth quarters, before free throws in the final seconds forced overtime, tied at 47. In the extra period, Charlottesville used a combination of fast breaks and free throws to secure the victory, 60-55.
